Earth & Flesh Retreat
AUGUST 27-30, 2025
EASTERN UPPER PENINSULA, MICHIGAN
a nude in nature retreat for the woman who wants to return to what is real
Set among the forests, waters, and wild places of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Earth & Flesh is an invitation to return to what is real.
Rooted in the medicine of nudity, relationship with plant allies, embodied healing, photography, and deep connection with the living world, this is a space to explore what happens when we stop performing and start listening. Listening to the body, to the Earth, to the wisdom that lives beneath the surface.
Together, we walk barefoot, meet the plants, tend the fire, nourish ourselves with the land, and remember what it feels like to belong in our bodies again.
If you are longing for something earthy, messy, beautiful, and alive, Earth & Flesh is an invitation to come home to yourself.
THIS IS FOR THE WOMAN WHO…
✦ Feels overfed by the world and undernourished in her soul
✦ Is tired of carrying everything alone
✦ Is struggling to love the shape of her body as it is
✦ Is at the threshold of a new chapter and is stepping into a new veil of unknown
✦ Longs to feel safe in her body
✦ Is healing from boundary violations, sexual trespass, people-pleasing, or the habit of abandoning herself
✦ Is reclaiming her voice, her boundaries, and her sovereignty
✦ Oscillates between “see me" and “don't see me"
✦ Is exhausted from keeping it together
✦ Wants to unearth her sensuality, her intuition, and her wildness
✦ Feels the mystery calling and is ready to answer
“I shared a shame I had carried for decades. Being seen and held by a circle of women helped me hear my own story differently. Over the months that followed, I began to realize how much I had punished myself for my desires and my longing for connection.
Having a safe space to be witnessed opened a doorway to greater compassion, pleasure, and self-acceptance. Every retreat has stripped away another layer, and each time I come home more fully to myself."
— Debbi D.
COME DREAM WITH ME
Imagine…
waking to the warmth of the morning sun, stepping barefoot onto the earth, and feeling your body begin to settle into a slower rhythm.
Imagine…
wandering through the forest, talking to the trees, seeing visions in grandfather fire's flames, submerging bare into the water, and remembering what it feels like to belong to the living world around you.
Imagine…
allowing the layers you've carried for years to fluff off like dead skin cells. The stories. The shame. The protection. The endless doing.
Imagine…
allowing weird and awkward movements and sounds to move through your body, smearing mud all over your naked body, and allowing your hair to do whatever it wants.
Imagine taking your clothes off and discovering that what you've really been longing to remove was never the clothes.
Imagine…
allowing yourself to be seen in ways you've yet to reveal. Knowing that what you choose to expose is what gets healed.
Imagine…
being witnessed. Not for how beautiful, healed, spiritual, successful, or put together you are. But for how human you are.
Just imagine…
getting to exist.
“I didn't realize this retreat would become such an important part of my healing journey, but it ended up being a profound punctuation point in my healing around sexual trauma. It became a beautiful reconnection to myself, my body, and to my power.
None of that would have been possible without the incredible sense of safety Kerry creates. There is so much awareness and care woven into every piece of the experience. That safety made it possible for me to truly come home to myself."
— Shannon M.
What Becomes Possible Here
I cannot tell you exactly what you will receive from this. No one can. What unfolds here is deeply personal.
For some women, this retreat has opened the door to healing wounds of sexual trespass, body shame, disconnection, grief, rage, boundaries, control, perfectionism, and self-worth. For others, it has transformed relationships with partners, family members, ancestors, plants, dreams, and the earth itself.
Women have left with a greater sense of freedom. A deeper trust in themselves. More intimacy in their relationships. More clarity around their next steps. More capacity to rest and to receive.
Some women have confronted fears they carried for decades. Some have softened lifelong resentment. Some have reclaimed forgotten parts of themselves. Some have experienced the radical medicine of slowing down enough to hear their own inner voice again.
What becomes possible here cannot be predicted. That is the nature of a portal. You enter seeking one thing and often discover something far greater waiting for you.
“Aside from the nudity, reconnecting with nature was one of the most profound experiences for me. The event gave me the key to open the door, but leaving the event was me walking through it.
Since then I've started a garden, connected with the trees in my backyard, wake up and go outside first thing every morning, and have created a much more fulfilling life. That experience completely changed what the last few years of my life have looked like."
— Callisa M.
The Medicine of the Container
While there are practices and ceremonies woven throughout our days together, they are not fully the medicine themselves. They are portals. Doorways. Pathways into deeper relationship with what is already alive within you.
The true medicine lives in the container itself. In the land. In the water. In the fire. In the women gathered beside you. In the conversations that arise unexpectedly. In the tears that come when you least expect them. In the silence. In the laughter. In the dreams that visit during the night.
Throughout our time together, we explore the medicine of nudity, sacred theater somatics, root cause discovery, shamanic and earth based practices, plant communion, intentional silence, and photography. Each practice serves as an invitation. A way of touching what has gone dormant. A way of awakening what has been sleeping beneath the surface.
The retreat itself is a living, breathing organism. A field of consciousness that begins working long before you arrive and continues long after you leave. Together, we listen to what is emerging and we follow the intelligence moving through the land, the group, and your own body.
“The photography became a medicine all its own. Looking at the images, I noticed the parts of myself I wanted to judge and the stories I wanted to tell about my body. Then I realized something important: I would never look at another woman the way I was looking at myself.
The photographs invited me into a deeper level of self-compassion and self-witnessing. Instead of seeing flaws, I began seeing the beauty of a woman who has lived, learned, and arrived exactly where she is meant to be. The images became a way to witness myself with greater love."
— Adina R.
"I came carrying deep sexual trauma and believing that healing had to be hard. Instead, I discovered softness. Through Kerry's sacred space, I was able to relax, surrender, and be held by the Earth in a way I never had experienced before.
Laying naked on the ground, feeling the sun on my womb, and reconnecting to my body became a profound healing experience. It helped me release shame, reconnect with pleasure, and remember who I am beneath the masks I had worn for years. The medicine of nudity and nature changed my relationship with myself forever."
— Nadaya R.FOR THE WOMAN...
FULL OF JUNK FOOD ENERGY
This is for the woman who has accumulated years of unprocessed experiences. Unspoken truths. Old conversations. Other people's opinions. Endless scrolling. Lingering grief. Lingering resentment. Lingering fear. She feels full, yet somehow empty. Overstimulated, yet undernourished. She longs for something more life-giving.
AFRAID OF BEING MESSY
This is for the woman who tries to keep everything together. The woman who fears appearing too emotional, too wild, too much, too imperfect. Yet beneath the surface lives a longing to loosen her grip. To laugh harder. Cry louder. Get dirty. Be untamed. She longs to embrace the fertile, living, breathing mess of being human.
HEALING TRESSPASS
This is for the woman who has experienced violation of her boundaries, her body, her trust, or her spirit. Whether through obvious sexual trauma, subtle coercion, chronic people-pleasing, or years of abandoning herself, she knows what it feels like to leave herself behind. She is exhausted from betraying her own truth. She is reclaiming the sacred territory of her body, her voice, and her choices.
WHO CARRIES TOO MUCH
This is for the woman who has become the strong one. The dependable one. The one everyone leans on. She checks in on others, makes sure everyone is okay, and quietly carries responsibilities that were never fully hers to hold. She is capable, resilient, and deeply loving, but often finds herself exhausted from being the one who keeps everything moving. Beneath her strength is a longing to experience what it feels like to be held, supported, and cared for.
guided by…
For over 17 years, Kerry Kott has guided women back to the wisdom of their bodies, the truth of their voices, and the liberation found in deep embodied knowing. She is a Licensed Physician of Chinese Medicine, Master Plant Guide, Intuitive Healer, nude nature photographer, and host of The Naked Human podcast.
The medicine of nudity was born from her own healing journey around sexual trespass and finding safety in her body again. Over the years, she has experienced how removing our clothing loosens the layers of shame, protection, performance, body stories, and unkind ways of relating to ourselves.
What began as a personal practice became medicine.
Today, Kerry guides women through experiences that weave together nudity, root cause healing, plant consciousness, Chinese medicine, sacred theater, somatic practices, photography, dreams, and deep relationship with the living world.
She lives on an off-grid homestead in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where she harvests medicinal plants, tends gardens, listens to dreams, photographs women in the wild, and hosts intimate retreats on the land.
THE LAND
This retreat takes place on Kerry’s private homestead in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is nestled beside hundreds of acres of conservation forest and just a short 6-minute walk to the Great Lakes. Known locally as “God’s Country,” this land is wild, remote, and deeply alive. There are more trees than people here, more stars than streetlights, and more stillness than noise.
Built off-grid by Kerry and her family in 2020, this land is both sanctuary and ceremony; created for deep communion with Mother Earth. You’ll drink pure clean well water. Water you can trust to bathe in, sip, and bless your skin with.
Kerry’s garden offers heirloom vegetables and herbs, while the land itself provides seasonal abundance through fruit trees, wild herbs, berries, mushrooms when they’re ready. Wild rose and tobacco grow here, alongside a whole living world of plant teachers. You are invited to walk barefoot. To be curious. To meet the plants, the wind, the moss, and the mycelium. To wander. To listen. To enter into relationship with the living world that surrounds you.
This land is also home to wild creatures; from butterflies to black bears, porcupines to owls, hummingbirds to wolves. Most often, they remain out of sight, moving quietly through the forest and keeping a respectful distance from our human scent and sound. Yet when we slow down, listen, and become a part of the landscape rather than passing through it, we may be blessed with their presence. You may spot a hawk circling overhead, a deer slipping through the trees, or hear the coyotes calling in the distance as we too lift our voices to the sky.
THE FOOD
Imagine a time when we lived in union with the Earth
And ate directly from the land that surrounded us…
Imagine a diverse diet of animal and plant sources
With great reverence for the life of all the sentient beings…
We are returning to our native roots through an omnivorous way of eating that honors both plant and animal life. Meals will be seasonal, nourishing, and reflective of what the land is offering at this time. Food may include locally sourced meats, fish, eggs, broths, fermented foods, homemade breads, garden-grown produce, wild foods, smoothies, juices, and other whole-food offerings.
Rather than following a rigid menu, we will eat in relationship with the season, the land, and the rhythms of the retreat itself. Two main meals will be shared each day, with nourishing bites, beverages, and simple offerings available throughout our time together.
Please note that there is no coffee or alcohol a part of this retreat. In most cases, food allergies and sensitivities can be accommodated. You are welcome to contact us before registering so we can confirm if we can accommodate your preference.

Yes! The medicine of nudity is a foundational medicine of this retreat.
However, this doesn't mean you won't have the option to use items for warmth or play. We encourage you to bring items like a silk scarf or a soft robe, things that can provide comfort and cover.
If you feel hesitant or uncomfortable about exploring your nudity, we invite you to consider it is a reflection of what is available to be healed within you. To prepare you for the space, we suggest listening to Kerry’s podcast, connecting on instagram, sending a message to Kerry, or scheduling a discovery call.

The term "NO-THING" in the context of this retreat refers to a state of being where one lets go of external distractions, tools, and gadgets, and embraces a sense of emptiness or non-attachment. It signifies a state of being present in the moment without the need for external possessions or distractions, and instead, allowing a deeper exploration of Self through the body and the natural world.
The entire setup of our retreat is crafted to provide you with tools that are accessible to you at any given moment, simply by utilizing your own body. We have intentionally designed this retreat free from external influences and distractions, so that you may immerse yourself in the most potent medicine.
NO-THING may include setting aside clothing, cellphones, makeup, fragrant body care products, supplements, medications, outside plant medicines, books, unnecessary conversation between sacred practices, and other habitual comforts or distractions.
This is not an invitation to force, deprive, or deny yourself something that is necessary for your wellbeing. Rather, it is an invitation to become conscious of your relationship with the things you habitually reach for and to explore, where appropriate, what becomes possible when they are temporarily set aside.
Participants should continue any prescription medications or medically necessary treatments as directed by their healthcare provider. Any decisions regarding medications, supplements, or healthcare protocols remain the sole responsibility of the participant and should be discussed with their licensed healthcare provider.
